UX / UI DESIGNER (MID – SENIOR)

Our client is a private luxury home goods retailer with a collaborative and consumer first mentality that has been producing high quality products for decades. They are looking to add a UX / UI Designer (Mid – Senior) to their team.

SALARY/HOURLY RATE:

$100k – $125k (DOE)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Our client is looking for a UX / UI Designer (Mid – Senior) skilled in designing websites and digital assets across varied digital platforms. UX / UI Designer (Mid – Senior) will provide digital optimization recommendations, develop responsive websites, and produce 360 visual design assets for campaigns, website, and print that are aesthetically pleasing and cohesive.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UX / UI DESIGNER (MID – SENIOR):

• Work in a highly collaborative environment with Marketing, Creative, and Engineering to navigate and expand digital footprint presence
• Deliver a defined UX/UI and digital strategy roadmap through sketching, wireframes, prototypes, testing, and strong visual design assets
• Create & present design concepts using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Produce digital assets that are cohesive & visually aesthetic across all marketing communication channels
• Manage own timelines and deliverables to keep projects on track using excellent verbal & written communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE UX / UI DESIGNER (MID – SENIOR):

• 5 – 7 years experience as a UX/UI Designer, website, and digital designer for a luxury brand
• Portfolios are required for consideration
• Top UX / UI Designer candidates will have previous luxury design experience in  home goods, retail, ecommerce, or interior design
• Strong visual design and user experience design skills
• Able to explain your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and appreciate collaborative feedback to help produce your best work
• Self-motivated team player who can work independently and adapt quickly in a small, fast-paced environment
• Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, HTML, and CSS experience

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
