AT&T Services, Inc. is looking for a Senior Software Engineer- Data Science in Dallas, TX (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US/may work from home) to create examples, prototypes, and demonstrations to help management understand how data and value may be extracted by leveraging various technologies. Provide subject matter expertise and hands-on delivery of data science projects. Work with key business stakeholders to understand their requirements and designs solutions accordingly. Perform various applied statistical analyses end-to-end from problem definition through to data extraction, analysis, and insight generation. Create and use appropriate mathematical models, algorithms, machine learning models, and statistical techniques to solve business problems. Complete accurate, reproducible analyses, and prototypes. Debug data oddities and technical issues. Participate in technical design and contribute to production code and share libraries. Responsible for tuning search algorithm. Create and optimize machine learning models and use advanced NLP features within search algorithms to improve search relevancy. Integrate personalization data for personalized search experience. Create and manage search index pipelines, troubleshooting indexing and search relevancy related issues. Perform search technology SOLR . Utilize Time Decay and signals boosting. Utilize Python, SQL, and Power BI. Perform running data centric A/B tests.
Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience performing search technology SOLR; utilizing Time Decay and signals boosting; utilizing Python, SQL, and Power BI; and performing running data centric A/B tests.
