PrideStaff on behalf of a client is seeking a hardware assistant to assist their IT Department. Your job would entail installing new hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs and updates to computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and inspect refurbished products for defects and damages.
- Perform analysis, diagnosis, and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed.
- Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
- Support the implementation team with new computer projects and new hardware installations.
- Work with end users to identify and deliver required PC service levels
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
- Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be computer savvy
- Open to learning and be part of a team.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
