Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative Job Overview:  The Customer Service Representative will work in a fast paced environment, where one day is never the same as the last. Connect with customers, clients, and different departments primarily through email and phone calls to coordinate logistics, payments, and efficiency of deliveries and orders for the company.

Customer Service Representative Hours : 8am-5pm M-F

Customer Service Representative Pay:    $21-24/hour Direct Hire

Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative Key Duties:

  • Partner with clients, customers, sales, accounting, and distribution to ensure service runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively concerning unit prices, inventory levels, availability, freight/shipping cost, and delivery times
  • Process orders using a company database
  • Identify/suggest/close additional purchases of products and services to customers
  • Answer inbound calls, greet visitors, and other administrative duties

Customer Service Representative Key Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
  • Diploma or GED (Bachelor Degree preferred)
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Good at multitasking in a fast paced environment.  Can deal with a lot of suppliers, a lot of customers and a lot of skus
  • Familiar with an ERP system, or other similar computer database system
  • Experience working in business to business (B2B) environments
