Established Coatings Manufacturer is seeking a person with sales skills who would like the opportunity to be trained as a “Technical Sales Associate”. This opportunity would train you, to call on Architects, Design professionals and many trades involved with the exterior of a building from design through construction. The Technical Sales associate’s market area would be the Northeast Market (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, ect.). You will have tremendous growth potential to advance your career into management.
The Role:
In this role, you will be a key part of growing your territory to the next level. You will be overseeing your region to market and sell our Wall Systems. You will be responsible for calling on new and existing customers, in the Northeast territory. You will also be responsible for continuing and developing customer relationships to support the sales territory goals. You will receive thorough training on product knowledge, application, and product presentations. Along with health benefits, there is a salary plus commission compensation plan. You will also be part of the planning and execution of marketing programs, new product development and overall company growth.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day quotations.
- Provide guidance to customers as it relates to product knowledge and pricing.
- Build and promote customer network in efforts to maximize repeat business with new and existing customers
- Identify emerging markets and be familiar with current market
- Generate business within territory and close new opportunities
- Monitor competitors’ products, including relevant sales and marketing data
Qualifications:
Must Have
- Ability to focus on details
- Analytical, planning and organization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with people from all levels and departments.
- US citizenship or legal resident alien status by completing Federal Form I-9 in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
A Plus to have
- Bachelor’s Degree, Associates, or relevant experience.
- Previous experience in a successful sales role within the construction Industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
