Sr. Network Systems Engineer-Administrative Software Org.

Administrative & Support Services Enterprise Software Organization with Hundreds of Millions in Revenue is known for providing unparalleled reporting metrics for organizations and individuals for critical information. The team is seeking a Sr. Network Systems Engineer to support and maintain the Northern California Production Center as a member of the regional team.

DAY-TO-DAY:

• Monitoring network engineering performance, ensure system availability & reliability
• Planning, developing, deploying, testing, and optimizing of networks and system services.
• Review network configuration management in addition to overseeing overall operational readiness.
• Monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure with IT team
• Establish, configure, test & maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Configuration of network devices and network services such as: (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• IT infrastructure standardization based on client requirements, advocate for high-level support when it comes to networking technologies.
• LAN/WAN related network service operation management including network software and hardware upgrades. Collaborate with network staff to resolve any issues with IT Security Information.
• Maintain networking and systems infrastructure, IE: service packs, security configurations, patches, hot fixes
• Network facility and software systems integration and reorganization such as, WAPs, VoIP appliances and UPSs.
• Design, planning, purchasing, installation, configuration, maintenance and testing of all network elements.
• Monitoring and managing all installed systems and network infrastructure
• Establish, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, app software and system management tools
• Evaluate the existing systems and advise on IT roadmap with operational staff
• Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency.
• Formulate and design the security system in place to maintain data safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

• TCP/IP familiarity and expertise
• Multiple years of experience with AWS in a production environment
• 5+ years of connectivity experience involve systems and networking infrastructure engineering and administration
• Windows Server Administration experience IE: (Active Directory, Windows, Office 365, Exchange, Outlook, PowerShell Scripting) along with Linux for AWS.
• Familiarity &/or willingness to learn technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, VPC, Firewalls, Reginal AZs.
• Understands AWS advanced networking concepts, cloud platform management experience, public cloud configuration experience, experience handling/maintaining workloads in AWS is ideal.
• Experience with data center integration enabling AWS, network automation experience for deployments and App. Migrations.
• Familiarity with HIPPA, PCI, CCPA, deal confidential PII and GDPR Compliance.
• Experience with HP servers, Routing & Switching, expertise with Cisco Meraki Firewalls
• Must be willing to work in the Eastern Time Zone (EST)

RATE: 55/hr
6+ Month ongoing contract with no set end date.
