Position Overview:
The Payments Modernization team is responsible for rebuilding the legacy payments system to streamline the overall payments process and reduce risk. We are seeking a Senior Developer to work with team members and business partners to design, develop, and implement new application functionality in support of the overall payments program. Our Impact:
Freddie Mac’s Payments Modernization program supports the company’s corporate scorecard objectives. Specifically, the program will replace a 20+ year legacy system, and transform all aspects related to payments, including payments processing associated with cash and securities, reporting, and reconciliations. The program will improve controls, reduce or eliminate manual functions, streamline business processes, and improve reporting, reconciliation, validation, and fraud detection capabilities through a modern technology framework.

Qualifications:
5-7 years of IT experience in design, development, integration and testing of software solutions based on J2EE technologies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, Master’s degree in any quantitative field is preferred
Java8, SpringBoot, RESTFul Services, Angular, SQL, JUnit
Docker, Gradle, Selenium strongly preferred
