Senior Data Engineer

A NYC based Healthcare AI Startup that provides an AI engine for Data Analytical software used by Pharma chains is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their fully remote team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll be very hands on with building out ETL Pipelines, data sets, data tools, and helping them migrate to Azure. Python and SQL focused. Required Skills & Experience

• Computer Science degree or relatable
• 3-5 or more years of experience of solving data challenges through advanced SQL and developing optimized queries to work with large data sets
• Proficient hands-on experience in Python including unit testing experience, writing effective and scalable code
• Any Kafka, Spark, and cloud experience is a plus.
• Experience in SSIS, Talend or any other ETL tools
• Experience in developing and supporting Business Intelligence applications
• Experience with creating complex functions, scripts, and stored procedures to conduct ad hoc analysis and create reporting packages
• Ability to communicate Technically
• Ability to communicate with Executives

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and support ETL applications for customer implementations to ensure that the data team is successfully meeting deadlines and project deliverables
• Develop standardized data models and processes for data analytics and machine learning applications; document thoroughly
• Identify areas of opportunities to enhance our AI platform
• Build client reporting, from performance monitoring to ad hoc requests
• Support ongoing Allazo platform migration to the cloud (including implementation and trouble-shooting, both internal and with customer data)
