Are you an interventional radiology RN seeking a rewarding nursing position in Katy, TX? Are you seeking a position to start immediately? Our client is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join their practice quickly!

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures including checking and verifying vital signs, meds, NPO status, lab results, and medical history
• Provide education to the patient and family members including ensuring the patient and family members understand the procedure and plan of care before signing procedural consent and providing them with discharge planning/instructions
• Insert and remove intravenous lines
• Administer medications including moderate sedation
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures
• Circulate/scrub procedures as needed
• Provide post-procedure monitoring including observing for signs and symptoms of complications, such as bleeding from the puncture site, pain, and/or changes in mental status or vital signs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• 8+ months of recent working experience as an Interventional Radiology RN
• Current BLS, ACLS
• Current TB Screen
• Current TX RN License
• Comfortable administering sedation
