Rebar Fabrication

TMD Staffing is looking to hire Rebar Fabricators/Material Handlers to work in a rebar manufacturing facility.

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a strong work ethic that are looking for a full-time position with an opportunity for advancement. You will be working in a non-climate control facility, bending, cutting, untangling, straightening, and bundling steel rebar. This is physical labor, and you will be working in a dusty environment with a lot of overtime! Steel-toe shoes and face masks are required. This position has the potential to become a permanent position. Resume and Interview Based.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person

TASKS:

• Assist in loading and unloading rebar on trailers
• Work standing, unassisted for duration of shift
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.
• Perform additional duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to bend, stand and lift up to 40lbs
• This position is Interview and Resume Based

PAY RATE: $18.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays, 5PM – 5AM
