Server Administrators
Contract Opportunity: 2 years
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

We are in need of several Server Admins for a long-term project to perform highly advanced systems administration (Installs, monitoring and upgrading computer components and system software) for our client in Austin, TX. Qualifications/Requirements:

• BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field preferred
• At least 7 years progressive IT experience in server environments
• MCSE certification
• Experience in PowerShell scripting
• Preferred experience in Windows Server Admin capacity along with Active Directory
• Preferred exposure to DNS and Certificate Services
• Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong experience with the Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently in a team environment with local and remote teams
• Demonstrate patience and flexibility to adjust to changing workplace demands
• Ability to meet the needs and expectations of internal and external customers
• Excellent communication skills – strong written, verbal, and interpersonal
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task with readiness to put in extra effort when necessary

Project duties:

• Facilitate and/or participate in meetings with technical staff in order to successfully support new releases, upgrades, or new installations of system software, hardware, applications, and processes.
