Job Title: Registered Nurse – Critical Care Float Pool

Location: Dallas, TX 75230

Shift: Full Time – 3×12 (Rotating Weekends)

Salary: $56,160-$80,496/year based on experience

Our hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool Team. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to a diverse group of patients across various units, including Surgical ICU, Neurovascular ICU, and Cardiovascular ICU. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Surgical ICU, Neurovascular ICU, and Cardiovascular ICU units.
• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform other necessary procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
• Participate in patient and family education to promote wellness and recovery.
• Adapt to different unit settings and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Active TX RN License or Compact License.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Ability to float between all ICUs in our locations.
• Strong knowledge and skills in critical care nursing.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• 2 years of ICU experience (consideration given to candidates with 1-1.5 years of experience).
