​Civil Engineer – Project Engineer

Location: Miami/Coral Gables

Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 (Depending on experience and certifications)

I am working with an Engineering firm, with offices in North America and Europe, that has grown exponentially in the last 10 years, to cement itself as a go-to multi-disciplinary consultancy.

I have an immediate position available for a Civil Engineer in South Florida with experience in Land Development. After a series of new projects win sustained in the last twelve months, they find themselves with a unique opportunity to grow their practice in the Southeast.

Role Responsibilities

You will be reporting to the Associate, assisting with Site Grading, Feasibility Studies

Project examples can range from Site Grading, Feasibility studies, Land Development projects, and Site Civil work.

The projects can range from Transportation to Commerical Properties and Industrial warehouses.

Experience with local, state, and federal codes and design practices.

Experience in permitting water and wastewater systems through WASD is a PLUS

You will be managing projects from the Florida Department of Transport (FDOT), and Municipality buildings from the State Council of Miami

Qualifications

2-6 years of Civil Engineering experience, with at least 2-4 of those in Land Development, Site Civil projects experience.

EIT would be a plus but is not required. The role can be upgraded for a recent PE-certified engineer

A Bachelor of Civil Engineering, with a Master’s preferred but not essential.

AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred),

Other Technologies that are ideal – design software such as Innovize, WaterCAD, or similar preferred.

Experience with drainage design software like ICPR, Cascade, HydraCAD, or similar preferred.
