About the Role
As an early member of our organization, you will support Ramp’s growth and savings offerings for our customers as we scale. This role supports the savings team, which was previously and Ramp’s first acquisition. You will interact with customers, vendors, and a “Buyer” pod on a day to day basis helping facilitate negotiations and supporting our overall operational efficiency in how we generate savings for our customers.
What You’ll Do
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors
Communicate the progress of negotiations, present negotiated offers to customers for closing, and contribute qualitative summaries around the progress of each deal
Monitor and supervise customer health, taking ownership of individual KPIs
Perform onboarding calls in order to gather data from clients to set up their account
Manage all commercial conversations and work directly with our customer’s vendors to ensure renewal/purchasing objectives are achieved
Partner directly with key client stakeholders to understand and deliver on their objectives, budget, and preferred terms
Support and work closely with our Senior. Buyer and Product Operations | Deal Desk to share detailed context and goal notes for negotiations to be successfully executed
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to generate significant savings for our users
What You Need
Minimum 1 year working in software sales, account management, or a similar field
Minimum 1 year negotiating professionally (sales, up-selling on account management)
Solid understanding of how SaaS/IT contracts work
Ability to work in undefined spaces with strong attention to detail
Strong investigative and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication, especially when summarizing complicated billing structures
Compensation
The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $106,250-$125,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
