Accounts Payable Specialist (Medical Company)

A busy medical company is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist. The position is full time Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. This is a permanent position with the employer that will provide benefits after a 90 day probationary period. The A/P Specialist provides assistance to the accounting and finance department by processing a large quantity of A/P transactions. You will be assigned a specific department and perform all A/P functions. You will review and verify invoices, sort and match invoices and coordinate payment options. Perform extensive data entry by uploading invoices into the company database. Post transactions reconcile A/P transactions and perform analysis of accounts. Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
No less than 1+ years in an Accounting role
College degree preferred but not required
Intermediate understanding of accounting principles
You must be a team player who can work well in a group
