Job Title: Media Associate

Primary Purpose: kate spade new york is looking for a Media Associate to manage full-funnel media channels. This role will lead execution of the overall strategy to drive sales, increase ROI, and fuel new customer growth. This position works with the Media Manager and Media Director to build a best-in-class marketing strategy, ensuring all aspects of media activations are executed with excellence, including working collaboratively across internal teams (project management, buying, site, creative, and IT teams) and external teams (marketing agencies, vendors, partners).

  • Support the Media Manager in creating and implementing acquisition, retention, and reactivation marketing strategies, driving incremental growth across all lines of the kate spade new york business by acting as subject matter expert for Video, Display, Audio, and Outdoor Advertising
  • Ensure flawless execution of media activations across paid media channels with a strong focus on executional excellence, including internal briefing, trafficking of collateral, testing and recapping.
  • Act as a liaison with external vendors and agencies to proactively keep ahead of timelines, deliverables, and communications.
  • Contribute to the process of briefing and approving creative assets through the creative team.
  • Liaise and collaborate with the brand marketing team and tapestry’s Center of Excellence team to enable full funnel campaigns across paid media channels.
  • Manage asset trafficking documents and calendars, assuring all tactics are accounted for and executed properly.
  • Support Media Manager on monthly and quarterly financial accrual and invoicing submission processes – with the ability to reconcile any variances between budgets and invoices.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to communicate digital campaign strategies for all launches and promotional activity.
  • Understand the digital competitive arena. Bring new ideas to the table based on competitive review of the digital and online marketplace as well as following industry news.

The accomplished individual will possess…

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-3 years of specialized experience and expertise within paid media, ideally with a recognized brand in retail/fashion or at an agency
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with, consult with, and influence cross-functionally.
  • Aptitude for translating marketing plans and outcomes into clear, concise calendars/recaps.
  • Ability to convey and connect both technical concepts and business context.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and a bias for action.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
