Engineering Coordinators are pivotal in synchronizing with Operations Centers to validate project specifics, ensure on-time deliverables, and maintain alignment with ‘In Scope’ Engineering Services. Why is this so important? As an Engineering Coordinator, you will play a vital part in our success, smoothing the course of our engineering projects by expertly navigating issues, keeping stakeholders informed, and securing essential deliverables.
As a System Specialist, you will:
Determine “In Scope” Engineering Services
- Reviews Scope of Work and estimate to confirm services flagged “in and out” of scope
- Interprets project programming and graphics requirements to determine the scope of services to be routed to the NOC (National Operations Center) or GOC (Global Operations Center)
- Identifies and documents delivery dates based on the project schedule
- Enters projects milestone dates and plan cost confirmations in ECT based on Project Manager inputs
Collaborate between Project Team and Operating Centers
- Generates Operations Center Work Requests (OCWR) for services from the Operations Centers
- Coordinates with the Engineering Process Manager
- Receives all “Issues and Opportunities” via ECT from the Global Operations Center
- Addresses internal technical questions to the greatest extent possible
- Routes RFI (Request for Information) to the Quality Engineer for action/services that are required for a complete engineering package
- Coordinates with the Technical Coordinator to add any required tasks
Monitor engineering progress and coordinates issue resolution
- Monitors the status of Operations Center tasks
- Resolves any tasks flagged as “Information Required” or “Not Started” in time to meet project schedule
- Collaborates with Operations Center to resolve any tasks which are past due date
- Notifies Engineering Process Manager of overdue tasks
- Provides project updates to the Project Manager
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School or GED required
- Background in commercial contracting
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organization skills
- Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook software programs required
- Detail-oriented, ability to interpret technical estimates and proposals
- Proficient working in Cloud-based platforms
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and must not require employer-based support or sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred

- The pay range for this position is $43,300 – $80,300. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
