As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Executes automation testing solutions to drive Shift left Testing across multiple projects, Accelerating the automated testing using service/ data virtualization, design, development, and technical troubleshooting Creates secure and high-quality automation code and maintains test scripts that run synchronously with appropriate systems Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops automation code that supports the CI/CD pipeline. Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in the automation pipeline that drives improvements for software deployment Contributes to automation engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
Job responsibilities
- Managing Shift Left Testing across multiple projects, driving the shift left with multiple capabilities and tracking approach,
- Experience with all shift left testing capabilities, all types of testing in the PDLC cycle
- Hand-on on implementation / automating the component/end to end testing , product validation Testing etc
- Develops automation testing solutions, design, and technical troubleshooting
- Create automated test frameworks, performance test projects, functional and non-functional test frameworks
- Creates secure and high-quality automation code and maintains test scripts that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops automation code that supports the CI/CD pipeline.
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in the automation pipeline that drives improvements for software deployment
- Contributes to automation engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Experience with Service virtualization, Data virtualization and innovate solutions that enable the scrum teams across products to achieve E2E Testing
- Familiar with tools such as PACT and Spring Cloud Contract for API testing
- Design and build infrastructure/tools for managing/storing Test data
- Experience with managing the test data, building utility for generating /extracting data from source for Testing end to end critical scenarios
- Good understanding of Infrastructure and environment to troubleshoot and resolve the env issues impacting the testing
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong experience with managing/ driving the shift left with multiple capabilities and tracking approach,
- Experience with all shift left testing capabilities, all types of testing in the PDLC /SDLC cycle
- Hand-on on implementation / automating the component/end to end testing , product validation Testing etc
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Design and build infrastructure/tools for managing/storing Test data
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets and DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Advance experience with cucumber or equivalent automation framework
- Regular reporting using Kibana, Jira or equivalent reporting tool.
- Expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, Java , Python , SQL.
- Proficiency in API Testing, Microservices Testing, Test Data Mgmt., Cypress & UiPath
- Proficiency of BDD / TDD – Behavior Driven Development/ Test Driven Development
- In-depth knowledge in maintaining Keyword, Data and Hybrid frameworks
- Cloud Services/Technologies – AWS/Azure/Google services/Kubernetes/ ZooKeeper/ Docker
