Our streaming video SDK is at the forefront of technology, leveraging modern video codecs, adaptive bitrate streaming, low-latency streaming, and support for live streaming. We ensure seamless playback across various platforms, including web browsers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and streaming media devices. This compatibility allows us to reach a wide audience and provide exceptional streaming experiences regardless of the device or operating system.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, concise, readable code that follows common design patterns and best engineering practices.
• Ask questions to better understand business needs to design quality software solutions that work well within the wider architecture.
• Ensure quality and confidence in software by writing effective automated unit tests.
• Raise the overall quality of engineering through code reviews, pair programming and other collaborative practices.
• Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation.
• Collaborate with other engineering, product, project, QA and content teams.
• Support client teams with integration of the SDK and assist in diagnosing issues.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience building applications or SDK(s) on iOS/tvOS platforms.
• Solid understanding of Swift (experience with Swift Package Manager a plus).
• You are enthusiastic about building an iOS library that handles all aspects of video playback.
• Understanding of the multi-threading capabilities features in iOS/tvOS foundation.
• Experience producing/consuming RESTful APIs and data formats like JSON and XML.
• Experience with video-on-demand and/or linear video playback using AVPlayer.
• Value collaboration with teammates and stakeholders.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience with video-on-demand and/or linear video playback.
• Experience with AVFoundation and Kotlin Multiplatform.
