Our client, a leading global specialty retailer is looking for a Customer Experience Associate to join their growing team. This is an NYC based company, and they are looking for a detail-oriented and hardworking candidate. This position is remote and will need someone to commit 3 to 6 months.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$20 – $22/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Customer Experience Associate will be assisting clients via email, phone, and chat. At least one-year experience in a Customer Experience Associate role or related field is required. The ideal candidate must also have strong communication and problem-solving skills while having the mentality to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to their clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ASSOCIATE:
- Answers incoming phone calls, emails, makes outgoing calls and follows up on customer questions in a timely and accurate manner; ensuring customer satisfaction
- Conducts lead management, CRM and prospecting activities to evaluate our customers, their needs and the solutions we can provide for best-fit products and services
- Partners with sales teams to meet and exceed customers service expectations
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
- Willingness and ability to help out with the team as necessary
- Works cross-functionally to bring the customer’s feedback and point of view to internal teams

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ASSOCIATE:
- 1+ year of Customer Service or call center experience preferred
- Zendesk, or other CRM experience preferred
- Must be available to work full time hours and some weekends
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude is extremely important
