A world market leader in explosion protection is looking for a Key Account Manager responsible for key account management, sales, and business development. This exciting opportunity requires a versatile, diverse, and experienced enterprise mobility & safety solutions professional with a proven successful record in sales engineering, business development, and project management. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the new leader will increase revenue growth by developing business development strategies focused on financial gain & customer satisfaction while promoting positive culture, collaboration, and a high-performance work environment.
Salary + Additional Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Digital and Physical Marketing (20%):
- Improve and increase company’s digital footprint, and reputation; Create technical content about products and solutions to educate EPCs, OEMs, Distributors, Customers, and End users.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen a network of people and organizations in the EM product line, serving different industries and segments.
- Maintain an active professional presence on LinkedIn and other business and professional social media platforms.
- Provide input to Company HQ on marketing material with adaptations to the nature and characteristics of the markets and regions the company serves.
- Key Account Management, Sales, and Business Development (40%):
- Develop, manage, nurture, and strengthen new business accounts and partnerships within the EM product line of the explosion protection (EX) industry in North America.
- Create a solid network and data base of potential customers, creating the need to acquire our products and solutions.
- Maintain and strengthen the current portfolio of accounts with customers, end-users, OEMs, and distributors.
- Identify new industries and segments to increase conversion and revenues.
- Register the company in the AVL (Active Vendor List) of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) firms.
- Regularly review and capture comprehensive competitive information including: overall EX landscape, advancements in EX mobile technology, pricing, customers, strong regions, and other relevant information to help the company maintain a competitive edge in EM.
- Prepare and conduct sales forecasts, weekly, and monthly status reports.
- Assist with annual budget planning for the Enterprise Mobility business unit.
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales and business development targets.
- Quoting and Order Processing (20%):
- Prepare quotes of products and solutions to meet and exceed customers’ expectations while ensuring profitability.
- Process orders in the ERP system.
- Follow-up on quotes, gathering data about customers’ needs, competitors, and the market.
- Customer Service (20%):
- Define/select key performance indicators and other measures/metrics to evaluate customer-centricity, and customer experience/satisfaction.
- Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and solutions work.
- Work with the customers and experts to ensure products meet system requirements.
- Communicate to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
- Secure order, guarantee product standards, and assure product delivery.
- Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
- Communicate with HQ for modifications and improvements to products to meet end users needs and demands.
- Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain their benefits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunication, Electronic or System Engineering; Master in Information Technology, Telecommunication, Electronic or System Engineering preferred
- Sales Engineer and PMI Certifications preferred
- More than six (6) years of experience as a Sales/Key Account/Business Development Engineer/Representative/Manager
- More than three (3) years of experience in Enterprise Mobility sales and marketing
- Use Microsoft Office Suite, other software, hardware, and applications needed to perform current and future duties related to the job
- Understand and use SAP and other ERP platforms
- Master the technical specifications and data sheets of all EM products and be able to promote their benefits, overcoming customers objections
