Senior Software Engineer- FinTech Startup

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a client’s growing team in Miami. We are partnering with a fully funded Fintech startup that is looking to hire a Senior software engineer to work on building out digital services featuring a credit card – plus checking, savings, and installment loan features – combined into a single all-purpose primary account.

Their founding CEO, has started 8 other financial technology companies alongside the founding leadership team that includes industry veterans that have built other pioneering fintechs. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be a part of a founding engineering team that is going to break all the molds and play a key role in launching a product that will bring financial access and simplicity to the people who need it most.

Role:

• Build new consumer facing banking experiences that are simple and beautiful
• Design, develop, test and scale RESTful microservices running on AWS
• Provide creative technical solutions that have a positive impact on the products and customers
• Foster and thrive in a growth mindset culture – using every opportunity to learn, discover and grow

Required Expereince:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer focused on programming with Java and successfully delivered API’s to production
• Experience shipping production code in Java based frameworks such as Springboot, Enterprise Java, etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Passionate about quality and writing clean, readable code that scales and performs well.
