Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring for qualified, patient-care focused Licensed Vocational Nurse to work in the Houston, TX area for a large Healthcare Organization.

The LVN is responsible for providing patient support and communication and facilitating an exceptional patient experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares and administers medications as directed by the Physician; performs basic laboratory tests, EKGs as ordered or indicated and suture removal and dressing changes.
• Performs medical histories, provides instruction to the patient regarding medications and diet, and authorizes prescription refills as directed.
• Prepares patients for examination using.
• Greets patients and answers phones
• Prepares, cleans, and maintains exam and treatment rooms, as well as supplies and equipment.
• Monitor controls of CLIA waived tests.

Job Requirements:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification required
• Phlebotomy Experience
• High School Diploma
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
• Athena EMR experience preferred

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday
• Starting at: $28.00/hr (Based on experience) + Benefits
• Temp-to-Hire Opprotunity
