Team1Medical Staffing is partnering with the City of Houston’s Health and Human Services Department in search of an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse to join their team. Administer vaccines, take vitals, and interview patients on their recent medical history. If you have a passion for contributing to the health and safety of the community, this position is for you!

Licensed Vocational Nurse’s Responsibilities

• Administer appropriate immunizations
• Register clients to collect specimens and draw blood
• Interview patients and record their medical history
• Take blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Assist nurse or physician as directed
• Maintain inventory of supplies and medications
• Assist in compiling statistical data for reports
• Work at various locations and travel in a city-owned vehicle

Licensed Vocational Nurse’s Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of LVN experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare facility is required
• Current LVN certification with the State of Texas is required
• Valid Texas Driver’s license with the ability to pass a driver’s license check
• Work schedule of Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drugs screening and criminal background check
