SHOWROOM COORDINATOR

Our client is a well-known luxury Italian brand that specializes in men’s, women’s wear, and accessories with retail stores in Europe, North America, and Asia needs a Showroom Coordinator for their NYC Showroom.

SALARY/HOURLY RATE:

$50k – $60k DOE

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Showroom Coordinator will be in charge of the reception area, shipping management, operations, partnering with HR on employee engagement events, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SHOWROOM COORDINATOR:

• Support team members and Sales Managers with guest services
• Responsible for the daily setup and breakdown of the dining area for catered lunch events
• Provide friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests
• Anticipate guests needs, both internal & external
• Ensure the pantry, common areas, dining area, and overall gallery environment is presentable throughout the course of the day
• Monitor hospitality areas to ensure they are kept clean, safe and code compliant
• Manage food orders and compile breakdown of costs for breakfast, lunch, and snacks
• Make various types of coffee included but not limited to cappuccino, espresso, macchiato, and iced cappuccino
• Wash dirty dishes by hand as well as load and unload dishwasher
• Regularly mop floors, dust shelves, and wash glass doors and mirrors
• Arrange services such as cleaning and catering

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SHOWROOM COORDINATOR:

• Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance that conveys professionalism at all times
• Must be able/required to lift and carry items 20 pounds or heavier
• May have to handle food such as poultry, seafood, and nuts
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to take direction well and work with others
• Reliable, punctual, and regular in attendance with good communication skills

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
