ART DIRECTOR

Our client, a leader in the beauty industry is looking for an Art Director to join their growing team!

SALARY/HOURLY RATE:

$110k – $120k

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Art Director will work closely with the Creative, Product, and Marketing teams. They will oversee the design and layout of visuals for packaging, newspaper, magazines, and more! This will support the Brand Design team. The Art Director will be on a hybrid schedule working Monday through Thursday onsite in NYC location and Fridays are remote. Hours are flexible starting anywhere from 7:30 am to 9 am!

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ART DIRECTOR:

• Create brand aesthetics and art direction while collaborating with creative leadership
• Develop innovative campaigns and motivate designers to develop innovative visuals and graphics
• Oversee the creation of the overall look for a project
• Work directly with clients to determine project styles and design approvals
• Oversee work and schedules for Graphic Designers
• Evaluate marketing techniques and trends

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ART DIRECTOR:

• 5+ years experience in graphic design
• Experience in the beauty or retail industry is required
• Strong attention to detail and time-management
• Ability to work in various artistic media
• Previous use of graphic design and photo editing software is required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
