Machine Shop Operator

TMD Staffing is looking to hire Machine Operators for a security system manufacturing company in New Braunfels!! The candidate for this position will be able to set up and operate machine shop equipment to produce parts, hardware, and other door management security products.****RESUME REQUIRED****

Pay Rate: $13.50 / HR

Tasks:

• Operate and use various machines, hand tools, and small power tools; including but not limited to punch press, drill press, sander, tapping machine, spin-o-matic, milling machines, kick press, and other machine shop equipment
• Use various measuring devices or test fixtures and gauges to verify the quality of components being produced. Complete repairs or rework units as requested.
• Produce samples for inspection and inspect production piece parts for proper dimensions/specifications using various measuring equipment and test fractures.
• Work from drawings, patterns, templates, process sheets

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• 1-year machine shop experience required.
• 1 year of experience in a machine shop manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations, filing, and organizing material.
• Skills in programming and operating Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) equipment preferred.

• Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM-4:30PM
• Tuesday-Friday, 6:00AM-4:30PM
• Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM
