The Sensex ended 530 points higher at 40,889.23, implying a fresh closing high for the leading index. The Nifty closed at 12,079, less than 30 points away from a new peak. Intra-day,\u00a0 the Sensex zoomed more than 532 points to hit a new record high of 40,931 on BSE, while the Nifty reclaimed the crucial 12,000-mark. <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/bharti-airtel-ltd-stock-price\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bharti Airtel<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/tata-steel-ltd-stock-price\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tata Steel<\/a>, VEDL were among the biggest gainers, jumping up to 6%.\u00a0Shares of<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Tata Group jewellery major <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/titan-company-ltd-stock-price\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Titan Company<\/a> and Ultratech Cements jumped in the morning trade on Monday even as the two are set to enter Sensex from Dec 23. Titan share price gained more than 1.5% to hit the day\u2019s high at Rs 1,152 on BSE. <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/ultratech-cement-ltd-stock-price\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ultratech Cement<\/a> shares gained more than 1% to hit the day\u2019s high at Rs 4,149 on the BSE.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/titan-company-ltd-stock-price\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Titan<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/ultratech-cement-ltd-stock-price\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UltraTech Cement<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/nestle-india-ltd-stock-price\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nestle India<\/a>\u00a0will be part of the S&amp;P\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/tag\/bse-sensex\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BSE Sensex<\/a>\u00a0from December 23 while\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/tata-motors-ltd-stock-price\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tata Motors<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/tata-motors-ltd-stock-price\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tata Motors<\/a> DVR,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/yes-bank-ltd-stock-price\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Yes Bank<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/vedanta-ltd-stock-price\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vedanta<\/a>\u00a0will exit the bellwether index.\u00a0 Meanwhile, the IPO of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/csb-bank-ltd-stock-price\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CSB Bank<\/a> enters its second day, after getting fully subscribed on the first day of issue.\u00a0Formerly known the Catholic Syrian Bank, the private sector lender looks to raise up to Rs 410 crore from its IPO. Kerala-based\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/market\/stock-market\/csb-bank-ltd-stock-price\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CSB Bank<\/a>\u2019s IPO is being carried out to meet\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/tag\/rbi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RBI<\/a>\u2019s reglulation with regard to listing. The public offer contains a fresh issue of shares to raise up to Rs 24 crore, and an offer for sale (OFS) of 1.97 crore shares by existing investors through which it will sell Rs 385 crore worth shares. CSB Bank IPO will remain open till November 26th, Tuesday. CSB Bank has fixed the price band as Rs 193- Rs 195 per share.
