SALARY\/HOURLY RATE:<\/h3>\n

$17 – $20\/hr<\/p>\n

POSITION OVERVIEW:<\/h3>\n

The Medical Biller will be responsible for application of all payments in a manner that will provide for accurate and timely posting of the assigned accounts receivable. The Medical Biller must be a motivated problem solver with knowledge of Medial Billing who can collaborate effectively with a fast-paced environment in a team.<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MEDICAL BILLER:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Responsible for application of all payments in a manner that will provide for accurate and timely posting of the assigned accounts receivable<\/li>\n
  • Must be a motivated problem solver with knowledge of Medial Billing who can collaborate effectively with a fast-paced environment in a team<\/li>\n
  • Post all insurance, managed care, and patient payments\/denials, inclusive of offsets to customer accounts in a timely manner<\/li>\n
  • Apply contractual adjustments in accordance with payer fee schedules<\/li>\n
  • Reconcile entire remittance advices<\/li>\n
  • Identify and report payment inconsistencies<\/li>\n
  • Adhere to standards, policies and procedures measured by KPI<\/li>\n
  • Engage in collection management processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MEDICAL BILLER:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • 1 to 3 years of experience in Medical billing or cash applications for a Medical practice or hospital required<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB) required<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of medical billing<\/li>\n
    • Medicaid enrollment experience is a plus<\/li>\n
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work independently and on a team<\/li>\n
    • Ability to multitask and manage time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:<\/h3>\n

      • High School diploma or GED is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
