As Professional Product Development Engineer (Software Engineer), you\u2019ll deliver great products and services that will delight our customers. You\u2019ll be responsible for developing and operating a robust and efficient fa\u00e7ade that acts as a unified access point for various internal platform capabilities, providing streamlined API access for both internal and external consumers and ensuring seamless orchestration of backing services.<\/p>\n
Key Role and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00b7 Build and maintain robust, scalable, and high performance Java-based Microservices<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Steward well-documented APIs to facilitate seamless integration for internal and external consumers<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Identify architecture optimizations that improve cost and\/or reliability of our systems<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Participate as an individual contributor in an agile team<\/p>\n
Education and Experience<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00b7 Bachelors degree in a related field preferred<\/p>\n
\u00b7 3-5 years of software development experience<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Experience with CI\/CD tooling<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Experience working REST based microservices<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Experience acting as a coordinator between different APIs<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Java and JVM ecosystem knowledge<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Proven track record of maintaining and operating services in production<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex system issues.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Embraces a growth mindset and continuously seeks opportunities to learn, adapt, and enhance skillset.<\/p>\n
Additional Technical Experience<\/p>\n
\u00b7 SQL and NoSQL Datastores (Mongo, Postgres, Redis)<\/p>\n

Our Professional Product Development Engineers earn between $105,000-$196,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education\/training.<\/p>\n
