We are looking for quality focused, and hardworking individuals with at least one year experience in Aluminum mig welding. The welder is essential to our client\u2019s success.<\/p>\n

Welder Essential Job Functions:<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00b7 Structural weld aluminum and stainless components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly using straight edges, combination squares. calipers, and rulers<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Utilize shop jigs and design simple fixtures to improve productivity<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to welding chart specifications or types and thicknesses of metals<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Ignite torches or start power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals being welded, completing electrical circuits<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Connect and turn regulator valves to activate and adjust gas flow and pressure so that desired flames are obtained<\/p>\n

Welder Required Skills and Abilities:<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00b7 Knowledge of proper use of hand tools<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Aluminum and stainless welding<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Understand common units of Measure and Use of a Tape Measure<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Positive attitude, dependable, and self-motivated<\/p>\n

Welder Physical Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00b7 The employee will stand for extended periods of time and will need to be able to lift approximately 50-75 lbs.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally, 30 lbs. Frequently, 20 lbs. Overhead<\/p>\n
