This position requires 2 days per month on site.<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Programs custom logic for educational\/learning applications in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript based on user stories, wireframes, and mockups.<\/li>\n<li>Working with a project manager and a designer, functions as the primary programmer for one or many educational client projects and\/or d\u2019Vinci-owned products.<\/li>\n<li>Develops systems, templates, and modules that are scalable and reusable to reduce development time and increase profitability, while adhering to best practices and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Identify problems (layout, design, usability, bugs, etc.) and resolve them with project managers and designers.<\/li>\n<li>Performs ongoing support and maintenance in tandem with d\u2019Vinci support agents for existing client projects and\/or d\u2019Vinci-owned projects.<\/li>\n<li>Spends a portion of time meeting with internal team members to plan work, communicate task status, and review requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Estimates programming work for business development and other client or internal needs.<\/li>\n<li>Keep current with advances in web technologies and monitor industry trends in web development, tools and tech.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews finished work with clients and internal team members.<\/li>\n<li>Updates work item statuses in the issue tracking system.<\/li>\n<li>Works with QA specialists to correct and revise issues.<\/li>\n<li>All other responsibilities as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An Associate&#8217;s Degree or professional technical training in Computer Science or Graphic Design or equivalent (related work experience can be substituted for educational requirements).<\/li>\n<li>2+ Years of experience programming data-driven web sites.<\/li>\n<li>Above-average SQL query writing abilities and intermediate understanding of relational database modeling and development.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates above-average coding and debugging skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with other developers\u2019 code (including frameworks and libraries).<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with version control software and concepts of branching and merging.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of deployment processes and semantic versioning.<\/li>\n<li>Is able to communicate programming concepts with technical and non-technical team members.<\/li>\n<li>Is capable of tailoring programming solutions within boundaries of project scope and timeframe.<\/li>\n<li>Must demonstrate competency in PHP and JavaScript.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with RESTful interfaces, AJAX, and JSON.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in HTML and CSS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"jobbi-2447430607\" class=\"jobbi-ad-placement-jobsite-bottom jobbi-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-5862940809620110\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-6t+ed+2i-1n-4w\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5862940809620110\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7946604715\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>","protected":false},"author":124,"template":"","class_list":["post-26424","rtcl_listing","type-rtcl_listing","status-publish","hentry","rtcl_category-medical-healthcare","listing-item","rtcl-listing-item"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rtcl_listing\/26424","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rtcl_listing"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/rtcl_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/124"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=26424"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
