Ideal candidate will be fast paced, professional, and provide exceptional patient care.<\/p>\n<p>Full Time \/ Part Time \/ Per Diem<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Duties<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Perform narcotic counts at the beginning and end of each day.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare for arrival of patients to the center by ensuring that proper supplies and equipment are available.<\/p>\n<p>Assist with inventory control by conducting supply check including ordering medications.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.<\/p>\n<p>Work with all members of the healthcare team in order to provide optimal care to the patient throughout the surgical experience.<\/p>\n<p>Provide patient education during all phases of the patient\u2019s experience at the center.<\/p>\n<p>Review the patient chart and history to assure that the necessary pre-op evaluation has been completed.<\/p>\n<p>Appropriately document patient care provided.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure that all Patient Consents form are completed.<\/p>\n<p>Perform nursing assessment of patient and begin IV treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Identify and take action to minimize or eliminate risk and maximize safety in the facility.<\/p>\n<p>Provide ongoing information to the patients to assure that they understand all procedures and feel as comfortable as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Wipe down gurneys and recliners between patients with a germicidal solution.
