{"id":25988,"date":"2023-03-31T21:41:07","date_gmt":"2023-04-01T01:41:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/listing\/warehouse-sorter\/"},"modified":"2023-03-31T21:41:39","modified_gmt":"2023-04-01T01:41:39","slug":"warehouse-sorter","status":"publish","type":"rtcl_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/listing\/warehouse-sorter\/","title":{"rendered":"Warehouse Sorter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Great Company to work for!!! * * * * * * 2nd Shift Sorter (1:15pm-9:45pm) * * * * *\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Position Summary:<\/p>\n<p>Sorter is responsible for overseeing and performing various tasks\/job duties related to the operations support and coordination throughout the recycling center, including but not limited to, inventory control, quality control and safety compliance.<\/p>\n<p>Tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sort and segregate recoverable materials (e.g.. aluminum, plastic, glass, paper, etc.) from incoming waste, or remove non-recyclable materials.<\/li>\n<li>Deposit recoverable material safely and efficiently into appropriate chute.<\/li>\n<li>Assist other sorters on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items.<\/li>\n<li>Increase production of the sort line by minimizing down time and providing training to sorters on the line.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all safety rules regarding the sort line; including stopping the conveyor belt in emergency situations.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect and remove jams on the sort line.<\/li>\n<li>Clean the automated sorting equipment on a daily basis, including screens, belly pans, and under the system, in addition to other light maintenance duties.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain cleanliness of facility during shift and perform end of shift cleaning<\/li>\n<li>Distinguish different types of recyclables (e.g., various types of plastic-PETE, HDPE; glass by color; aluminum from tin or bi-metal; paper-5 to 6 grads).<\/li>\n<li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"jobbi-2594363182\" class=\"jobbi-ad-placement-jobsite-bottom jobbi-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-5862940809620110\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-6t+ed+2i-1n-4w\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5862940809620110\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7946604715\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>","protected":false},"author":467,"template":"","class_list":["post-25988","rtcl_listing","type-rtcl_listing","status-publish","hentry","rtcl_category-others","listing-item","rtcl-listing-item"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rtcl_listing\/25988","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rtcl_listing"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/rtcl_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/467"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=25988"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
