Technicians must possess the skills of an all-around handyman. Carry out cleaning and general maintenance responsibilities, including, but not limited to, major machine repairs and equipment inspections.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nResponsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and facilities. Equipment will include:- Electrical equipment including facility wiring, generators, sub-panels, junction boxes<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical equipment including cranes, doors, plumbing, HVAC systems, compressors<\/li>\n<li>Production equipment including CNC machines, saws, welding equipment, and product testing apparatus (both electrical and hydraulic)<\/li>\n<li>Perform adjustment of repair of items as required.<\/li>\n<li>Perform preventive maintenance duties that detect early signs of failure or maladjustment.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and listen to operators, vendors, and other maintenance personnel to ensure the production readiness of machines.<\/li>\n<li>Work from machine design drawings, specifications, and handbooks.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with all company and HSE policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Facility Specific Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technicians will keep safe for our facility s personnel and equipment first priority, followed by solid customer service and timely response to all our production equipment needs.<\/li>\n<li>The technician will support every aspect of functionality within the Cedar Park facility<\/li>\n<li>Perform preventative maintenance and assist, guide, and train others as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and listen to operators, vendors, and other maintenance personnel to insure maximum utilization of machines and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments which involve dismantling, inspection, machining and\/or replacement of purchased parts.<\/li>\n<li>Use blueprints and other specifications; uses hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring instruments.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect and are capable of troubleshooting machines and equipment to locate areas of concern.<\/li>\n<li>Technicians must be motivated, selfless handymen with experience in hydraulics, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, framing, welding and\/or lighting.<\/li>\n<li>Know how to operate and assemble machines and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>May also perform complex duties which include planning and implementation for programmed facilities plans and general maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Works under appointed supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED required.<\/li>\n<li>Preferred, 3+ years of experience in HVAC diagnostic and repairs.<\/li>\n<li>Basic electrical 120V to 480V and basic math knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the repair of manual CNC machines, mills, lathes, and drills, preferred<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Specific Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Willingness to work in a team environment where individual initiative, accountability, and professional maturity are required<\/p>\n<p>Ability to effectively interface with all levels within the organization<\/p>\n<p>Personal flexibility to accommodate unforeseen tasks that are time sensitive<\/p>\n<p>Strong customer relationship and communication (written and oral) skills.<\/p>\n<p>Proficiency and\/or ability to learn new systems.<\/p>\n<p>Excellent time management skills<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Monday &#8211; Friday, 6:00 AM &#8211; 2:30 PM<\/li>\n<li>Some overtime on an as-needed basis with manager approval<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"jobbi-1509769646\" class=\"jobbi-ad-placement-jobsite-bottom jobbi-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-5862940809620110\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-6t+ed+2i-1n-4w\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5862940809620110\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7946604715\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>","protected":false},"author":467,"template":"","class_list":["post-25778","rtcl_listing","type-rtcl_listing","status-publish","hentry","rtcl_category-others","listing-item","rtcl-listing-item"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rtcl_listing\/25778","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rtcl_listing"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/rtcl_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/467"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=25778"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
