{"id":25663,"date":"2023-02-26T18:33:31","date_gmt":"2023-02-26T23:33:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/listing\/x-ray-technician-assistant-medical-assistant\/"},"modified":"2023-02-26T18:34:25","modified_gmt":"2023-02-26T23:34:25","slug":"x-ray-technician-assistant-medical-assistant","status":"publish","type":"rtcl_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/listing\/x-ray-technician-assistant-medical-assistant\/","title":{"rendered":"X-Ray Technician Assistant\/Medical Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PrideStaff is recruiting for an\u00a0<b>X-Ray Technician\/Medical Assistant<\/b>\u00a0for\u00a0<b>1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0Shift<\/b>\u00a0for a healthcare provider located in\u00a0<b>Asheville<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><u>Duties and Responsibilities<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Position patients and equipment to capture the correct area and produce clear images<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and educate patients about the imaging procedure<\/li>\n<li>Maintain patients\u2019 records during and after procedures<\/li>\n<li>Monitor patients and ensure their safety during imaging procedures<\/li>\n<li>Calibrate the equipment to provide clear, usable images<\/li>\n<li>Log and organize image results, develop film and assist with the interpretation of the radiograph results<\/li>\n<li>Consult with Radiologists to determine if other images need to be taken<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the proper sterilization and storage of the equipment<\/li>\n<li>Maintain radiographic equipment, and report any equipment failures<\/li>\n<li>Collect and record medical history, take and record vital signs from in-office patients for provider.<\/li>\n<li>Answer, document, prioritize and return incoming patient telephone calls.<\/li>\n<li>Request patient reports from another medical provider as requested by physician<\/li>\n<li>Administer medication as ordered by provider.<\/li>\n<li>Assist provider with procedure as requested.<\/li>\n<li>Handle patient inquiries and concerns in reference to their clinical treatment, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Privacy and HIPAA standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Qualifications and Requirements<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associates degree or certification in radiologic studies, radiologic technology, or other relevant fields<\/li>\n<li>Proven work experience as a Radiology Technician or similar role<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>The physical stamina to stand for long periods and operate heavy machinery without assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Hours of Work<\/u>:\u00a0 8:00 am to 5:00 pm<\/p>\n<p>Compensation \/ Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 &#8211; $24.00 Per Hour<\/p>\n<div id=\"jobbi-386044244\" class=\"jobbi-ad-placement-jobsite-bottom jobbi-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-5862940809620110\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-6t+ed+2i-1n-4w\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5862940809620110\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7946604715\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>","protected":false},"author":467,"template":"","class_list":["post-25663","rtcl_listing","type-rtcl_listing","status-publish","hentry","rtcl_category-medical-healthcare","listing-item","rtcl-listing-item"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rtcl_listing\/25663","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/rtcl_listing"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/rtcl_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/467"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobbinghood.com\/jobs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=25663"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
