The Leasing Professional is responsible for assisting the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager in maintaining all aspects of property operations, but with a concentration on the leasing, outreach marketing, and resident retention for the property. The Leasing Professional strives for 100% occupancy through retention of existing residents, leasing current availability and pre-leasing of future availability.<\/p>\n

Primary duties:<\/p>\n

Utilize company leasing expectations and procedures to warmly greet prospective residents, qualify, determine needs and preferences, professionally present the property and apartment homes, utilize feature\/benefit selling, close the sale and follow-up.
\nWalk community in the mornings to ensure models, show units, and all tour routes are clean and fresh for showing to new prospects for the day.
\nAnswer incoming phone calls professionally and handle accordingly, whether the caller is a prospective resident, a current or former resident, an internal Company team member, or a vendor.
\nComplete all lease applications and participate in the verification of applications. Notify prospective residents of results.
\nMaintain accurate client records in accordance with Company policy. Update reports concerning notice to vacate, vacancy reports, activity reports, etc. On a daily basis.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Job Requirements<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
\n
1 year of leasing experience in property management
\nMust be willing to work temporary assignments
\nStrong communication skills, high-energy, outgoing personality and enjoys a fast pace environment
\nEnjoy and take pride in providing excellent service
\nGreat with people, warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phone
\nBasic computer skills, typing and writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc.
\nValid driver’s license
\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent
\nMust be able to:
\nHave 2 excellent references (work references of previous employment)
\nHave own reliable transportation
\nPass a National criminal background check
