The Warehouse Associate is responsible for filling orders accurately in a safe and timely manner while assisting and maintaining customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 MUST HAVE knowledge of how to operate Crane and Forklift.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Experience in steel is a plus.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Filling orders for customers per pick ticket instructions, double checking size, grade, quantity and heat numbers.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Must be able to communicate effectively, read and follow all customer special instructions listed on pick tickets.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 MUST be able to read a tape measure.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Pulling material for transfers.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing trucks.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Cutting materials for stock and for customers using saws, shear, iron worker and burning table.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Double checking orders and ensuring correct materials are pulled for each order.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Fill out required paperwork, customer labels and equipment inspection reports.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner, report safety concerns to your Supervisor and maintain a clean and safe work area.<\/p>\n
