This position will perform patient centric administrative\/support care in an ambulatory setting.<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Duties<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Triages patient concerns through in-basket messages, MyChart messages, and phone calls. (20%).<\/li>\n<li>Completes prior authorizations for specialty medications and procedures. (20%)<\/li>\n<li>Communicates with patients and physicians regarding medication and treatment status (20%)<\/li>\n<li>Enters orders for patient tests and obtains proper paperwork. (10%)<\/li>\n<li>Schedules patient tests, procedures, and appointments. (5%)<\/li>\n<li>Monitors incoming faxes. (5%)<\/li>\n<li>Performs clerical\/administrative responsibilities such as filing and\/or scanning patient medical records, obtain lab\/x-ray reports, hospital notes, and referral information. (as needed)<\/li>\n<li>Manages and coordinates incoming patient referrals.
