The Winter RN Residency 2023 BHSF Transitional RN Residency for experienced RNs is now accepting applications. The residency is scheduled to start on 1/30/23. This position is for experienced RN’s wanting to go into a Critical Care Residency Training Program with a minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional able to demonstrate the following core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service. This course is designed to provide nurses with theoretical knowledge needed to provide holistic family-centered care to patients and family members and is targeted toward registered nurses who are new to critical care nursing.

Estimated pay range for this position is $33.36 – $45.02 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates interested in the Critical Care Residency must:

  • Be a Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing by the CCNE or NLNAC
  • Have a Current FL RN License
  • Have a current BLS for Healthcare Providers
  • Have 1 year of current RN experience in a hospital setting (required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. All Associate Degree nurses accepted into the program must agree to achieve their BSN degree within 5 years of start date.

Candidates selected for interview will need to provide the following documents:

  • Copy of Nursing Diploma or Unofficial Transcript indicating the nursing degree awarded
  • Copy of FL RN license
  • Copy of BLS for Healthcare Provider card. BLS must be current until 8/2023
