Job Description Manager of Software Engineering/Team Lead Java Software Engineer

Salary: $150,000 – $160,000 plus full benefits & 401(k) match
Vaco was hired by a healthcare software organization that is expanding their software development team with a Manager of Software Development/Team Lead Java Software Engineer that is specialized in Java, Angular9, Microservices, Spring Boot, REST, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL.
Responsibilities:
- Manage onshore and offshore Java Software Engineers.
- Hands-on software architecture & design over Java, Angular9, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Typescript, Hibernate, and HTML5, and CSS.
- Lead teams working on digital transformation projects utilizing SDLC methodology, AGILE, Scrum, and drive collaboration.
- Perform hands on coding, troubleshooting, and conduct code reviews.
- Assist in analyzing business requirements and write technical specifications.
- Document business processes and demonstrate knowledge of business workflow.
Requirements:
2+ years of software development management experience.
7+ years of software architecture experience: Java, Angular, Spring Boot, HTML5, CSS, Typescript, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.
CSM, Java, and AWS Certs are a plus.
